Meet Baby Beckett...

This sweet little man is my new friend, Cece's, newest addition! They have 3 other kiddos that make up their beautiful family of 6. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your lives, and for allowing me capture sweet moments of new love. I look forward to the many years ahead as friends!

She has this pair of amazing blue chairs (that I secretly want to steal), which are perfect for squeezing kiddos into... or, better yet, one tiny baby! ;)

Playing a little catch-up...

I've been neglecting my blog, and I appologize! I'm attempting to get caught up tonight... we'll see how it goes. I have lots to do! Here are a couple. Hopefully I'll post some more before too long.

Update for Rachel Photography...

I am making things official and starting my business! Which means a few things... One, I have to figure out how file taxes, which in turn means, two, I have to start charging them. Hmmm... I have a feeling this won't be my favorite part of photography. That gets me thinking... "What is my favorite part of photography?" The answer to that comes easily... being with people: learning about what makes them tick, attempting to capture that with my lens, and seeing their personality come alive in still form. I've been blessed with so many friends who have been supporting me over the past 8 months. Thank you. I am humbled, excited, and scared all at the same time. There are many areas in which I'll need to become familiar now that I'm starting my business, so here we go! The creative part is easy, it's the confusing organized part that will get me! Thankfully, I have support from a wonderful, encouraging and organized husband, and a dad who owned his own business for 20 years. Right about now, I'm telling myself to "take a deep breath, put one foot in front of the other, and JUMP!" I continue learning to trust in God - completely. He is my provider and great source of strength. And it's by His Grace alone that I've come this far. Thank you, Lord, for giving me a love for people and portraiture. I truly am in love. Thanks to all of you who have come to see me over the past 8 months.... You've inspired me, encouraged me, pushed me, and challenged me. DON'T STOP! I am waiting in anticipation for what my future has in store!

Meet the Ernst Family...

This is sweet Cash and his Mommy & Daddy! Lacee and Rob came to see me on one of our beautiful days last week... which have been few and far between! Cash was such a doll, and a tough kid to crack! We were all being ridiculous in an attempt to get a smile out of him... We did manage to get a couple, but what he preferred was that we see only his perfect, angelic gaze. Seriously, he has the most gorgeous eyes! Take a look, and you'll see what I mean! Thanks for coming to see me! Y'all were such a treat!

Sweet baby girl cousins...

I had so much fun with these baby girls! They were absolutely adorable. They are only a couple weeks apart. What great friends are they going to be?! Their mommies had everything picked out, with bows to match! My favorite was the tutu! I'm a sucker for tutus... Enjoy these sweet baby girls!

Matt & Erin are married! Thank you, Erin, for having me as your photographer... You made it so very easy! You were absolutely stunning. Wait till you see her amazing eyes, the dress, the shoes, the hair piece... it was all so perfectly beautiful!
